Simon Cowell’s U-turn on Louis Walsh

He begged axed Louis to return as judge on X Factor

After sacking him from the show, Simon Cowell had a change of heart and asked Louis Walsh to return as a judge on ITV’s X Factor.

The pop mogul, 47, offered Louis £1m to rejoin the panel but the former Boyzone manager, 54, turned Simon’s offer down flat.

He's far to busy managing Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead to consider the offer.

Simon, currently a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, offered the olive branch after the two met at Simon’s This Is Your Life show last month.

‘They cleared the air after This Is Your Life,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘Simon rang Louis and said he felt he had made a mistake and offered him £1m to come back. Louis wasn’t interested.’

Perhaps, Louis wanted a few more notes thrown at him...and a bit more grovelling.
