Victoria Beckham plays ball

Posh is guest of honour at baseball match

Embracing her new life in the US, Posh has pitched the opening ball in a crucial baseball match between the LA Dodgers and the New York Mets.

Dressed in a blue LA Dodgers jacket, white shorts and trainers, and with her trusty sunglasses, the mother-of-three looked the part as she made her guest appearance at the Californian stadium.

Before the game, 33-year-old Posh revealed that she was ‘really nervous’ about throwing the ball in front of so many dedicated sports fans.

‘I’ve been to lots of soccer stadiums but this is something else,’ Victoria admitted. ‘I’m going to do the best I can. This is a huge honour.’

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are proud of their mum. ‘Her boys are sports-mad,' a pals tells the Daily Mirror, 'so when the chance came up, Victoria said she’d do it for them.’
