Madonna’s starting to look her age

Material Girl is beginning to lose her battle to stay young

Superstar Madonna has managed to constantly reinvent herself, but even she can't outrun Father Time forever.

The 48-year-old dined at London restaurant Locanda Locatelli with hubby Guy Ritchie this week and looked gaunt and pale.

‘I couldn’t believe the tiny frail woman I was looking at was Madonna,’ says one onlooker. ‘Her skin was almost grey and she was painfully thin.'

Is Madge trying too hard to fight off the years?

‘She is obsessed with looking younger,’ a friend tells the Daily Mirror. Some nights she’ll cover herself with thick moisturising creams and sleep in protective suits.'

But lotions, potions and excercise will only do so much.

'Ageing of the face is a funny thing,' plastic surgeon Patrick Whitfield tells the Daily Mail. 'You can be fine for a long time and then suddenly the face starts to crumble.

'The fatty tissue is absorbed by the ageing process.'
