Ten years after the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, Princes William and Harry have finally broken their silence – and admit they ‘think about her every day’.
Both bothers agree that the 1997 car crash in Paris’s Pont de l’Alma underpass - in which their mother and lover Dodi Fayed died - was an accident, but, Harry, 22, says: ‘Whatever happened in that tunnel — no one will ever know.'
Speaking in an interview for US station NBC, ahead of the Diana memorial concert at Wembley on 1 July, the Princes have also revealed how the media made it harder for them to grieve.
‘There was never that sort of peace and quiet for any of us,’ says Harry.
But the playboy prince believes his mother’s spirit still lives on. ‘I personally feel as though she has been — she’s always there,’ he says. ‘She’s always being a constant reminder to both of us and everybody else.
William, 24, adds: ‘There’s not a day goes by I don’t think, you know, that I don’t think about it once in the day.’
