David Beckham to open up in new 'full and frank' documentary

Becks to be followed by cameras for ITV1 fly-on-the-wall show

Posh has resumed filming her US reality show about the Beckhams' move to LA and now David is to get his own fly-on-the-wall special.

The footie hunk – notoriously protective of his private life – will be followed by ITV cameras as he plays his last games for Spanish team Real Madrid and then joins LA Galaxy in California.

Viewers will be treated to ‘full and frank’ interviews with 32-year-old Becks.

Wife Victoria, 33, and boys Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz will not feature prominently because TV execs want the documentary to be ‘football-focused’.

Pop Idol creator Simon Fuller is behind the 60-minute show.

‘It has been a dramatic few weeks in the life of this iconic footballer,’ Simon, who masterminded Becks’ move to the States, tells The Sun.

‘This documentary will give an insight into extraordinary events.’
