Sheree Kewell: I’m a mum but I'm still rocking

Former Emmerdale star hates being 31 but is having fun

She may only be 31, but ex-Emmerdale actress Sheree Kewell admits that she feels her age when she's socialising with younger WAGs.

Sheree, married to Liverpool footballer Harry Kewell, 28, says she was devastated when she turned 30.

‘When I’m with the girls who are 19, I think: “Gosh, I’m 31, I’m one of the oldies!”' she explains. 'I’m getting a bit more comfortable with being in my thirties now, but I was devastated at first.

'I know 31 isn’t old but when you’re hanging around with people who are younger, you do feel a bit ancient.’

Mum-of-two Sheree prefers to party with the WAGs who also have kids.

‘The ones I hang out with are mums – Alex Curran, Kelly Fowler and Nicola Carragher,' she tells The Daily Mirror.

‘In Athens for the Champions League Final last month, we sat round the pool eating crisps. We wouldn’t get up and parade around in a bikini.’

But Sheree and her mates are still having fun. ‘The young ones are super-skinny, tiny and gorgeous,' she says. 'But we stayed out later than them – the mums are still rocking!’
