Eddie Murphy ordered to take DNA test

Shrek star must prove he is – or isn't – the father of Mel B’s daughter

Actor Eddie Murphy has been orderd to appear in court today and to provide a DNA test – finally clearing up the mystery of whether he’s the father of Melanie Brown’s baby.

Former Spice Girl Mel, 32, is adamant that Eddie, 46, is dad to little Angel Iris, but the comedian denies the claims.

Mel’s also due to attend the hearing and it could be the first time the feuding pair have come face-to-face since Eddie dumped pregnant Mel live on TV.

‘If he tries to duck out of this test there’ll be hell to pay,’ a source tells The Sun. ‘This isn’t another girlfriend he is messing around, this is his own flesh and blood.

‘Mel doesn’t want Angel to grow up questioning who her father is. This isn’t about the money, it’s about Angel knowing for sure who her dad is.’
