The two male finalists fighting to be Danny in ITV’s Grease Is The Word are not talking.
Anthony Kavanagh, 29, and Danny Bayne, 19, will go head-to-head tomorrow for the chance to play Danny Zuko – the role made famous by John Travolta in the movie Grease.
But insiders say that behind the scenes the pair are close to coming to blows.
‘They really can’t stand each other and don’t speak unless they have to,' a source tells The Daily Mirror.
‘Kavanagh is laid back and likes to relax but gets wound up by Danny singing around the house all the time.’
The tension is mounting because both guys are determinated to win the show and star in the West End show.
‘They have different personalities,' says the source. 'There is just no love lost as they both want to win so badly.’
But the boys will have to get over their differences because they must perform a Grease classic together on Saturday, as well as their solo numbers.
