Music guru determined to light up
Friday, 8 June 2007
Simon Cowell is determined to spark up despite England's new anti-smoking laws.
The caustic-tongued music mogul, 47, has branded next month's ban a breach of his freedom of choice - and will defiantly persist with his ciggie habit.
'I think this new smoking ban is illegal,' he tells the Daily Express. 'It's taking away something we have a free choice over. It is ridiculous.’
That’s no way to impress the ladies, Mr Cowell. Nobody likes licking an ashtray.
