Apprentice’s Katie Hopkins was in Big Brother

Alpha female was housemate in show’s two-week dummy run

Apprentice quitter Katie Hopkins starred in an unscreened pilot for Big Brother in 2000.

During a two-week dummy run – before the first series aired – the 31-year-old was happy to strip and show off images of her private bits.

‘We had to make wire models of ourselves and include photocopies of our body parts,’ one housemate recalls.

‘Katie took her clothes off and lay on the photocopier with no qualms at all. She went straight for the more intimate areas of her anatomy and got down to work.’

In newly released video clips, the mother of two, then 24, is also seen mooning fellow housemates, and swigging from a giant bottle of cider.

And while she was branded a super-bitch during her time on Alan Sugar's TV series, fellow Big Brother contestants say the posh blonde was ‘sweet’ seven years ago.

‘She was popular, sweet and very good fun,’ a fellow contestant tells the Daily Mirror. ‘There are two sides to Katie - the driven, ambitious side and the side that just wanted to get back to her dogs.’

Former stepdaughter Charlie McKinney, 18, says that Katie is simply hungry for fame.

‘She's very into the idea of celebrity,' says Charlie. 'I wouldn't be surprised to see her on the next Celebrity Big Brother.’
