Shilpa Shetty supports C4’s decision to eject Emily Parr

CBB winner says intolerance is unacceptable

Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty says C4 were right to kick Emily Parr off the show for making a racist remark towards housemate Charley.

Bollywood star Shilpa, 31, is in the UK for the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards in Yorkshire.

Speaking at the IIFA, Shilpa said: ‘Intolerance of any form has to be debunked. For a change [Channel 4] has done some good.’

In January, Shilpa became one of the most popular BB contestants after the CBB race row and her bullying by Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O’Meara.
