Lily Allen is buying dream home in Hackney
Lonely on her US tour this year, a depressed Lily Allen realised how much she missed boyfriend Seb Chew.
Now, after quitting America, she wants to settle down with the record company executive and has bought a Victorian terrace property in Hackney.
Lily, 22, has splashed out £600k for the house in the east London borough and is relieved – after some wrangling over the price – to get the home of her dreams.
'While I love handbags and shoes, I think it's more important to have a place to call home,' she tells The Sunday Mirror.
'Buying a house is like buying a dress in an over-priced vintage shop... except obviously there's more people in the equation and buying a dress doesn't come with a 25-year financial obligation!'
