Lindsay Lohan settles into rehab

Actress is happy out of the limelight

Lindsay Lohan is said to be 'happy' in rehab.

She's settling in well at Malibu’s Promises rehab centre after entering on Monday, two days after being arrested for driving under the influence.

'She's happy where she is and is just taking time to herself to learn and be OK,' her stylist friend Nate Newell said. 'I've been in touch with her and she likes it.

'I think she surrounds herself with good people generally, but all the pressure that she's around has created this alternate universe in a way and it's hard for her to stay grounded.'

The 20-year-old actress had previously spent a month in West Hollywood’s Wonderland centre but was allowed out in the day to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and for filming. But now Lindsay is set to stay in rehab for the long-haul.

'Last time she was back and forth from the set,' Nate told People magazine. 'But this time she'll totally be there. She just needs to be away from everyone and not get attacked by the paparazzi. She's doing really, really well.'
