Gail Porter: I spent £2,500 on champagne in one night

The presenter loves to splurge

Gail Porter says wildly expensive champers is definitely her guilty pleasure.

'The more expensive the better,' she laughs. 'I once spent £2,500 on champagne.

'It was after the Brit Awards. I went to the Sanderson Hotel in London and put my card behind the bar and ended paying for drinks for the whole hotel. But it was a great night.'

Newly single Gail, 36, also once splurged £2000 on a Gucci coat.

'My mum liked it so I bought it,' she tells Celebs On Sunday. 'It's classic cut - long and black. But I'm not really designery.'

Even so, Gail did get a lovely pair of designer sunnies sent to her recently - and loved 'em.

'I don't get many freebies - usually stuff to help hair growth now - but I did receive a nice pair of Roberto Cavalli sunglasses last week. I was dead chuffed. They're very glam.'
