Victoria wants to model LA home on Madrid pad

Victoria Beckham plans to recreate her and David's Madrid home in California - to ease his blues about leaving Spain.

Posh, 33, hopes that modelling the family's new LA mansion on the Moroccan feel of their Spanish property will help her soccer star spouse adjust to his new country.

'She knows it is unusual for an English couple in Los Angeles to have Moroccan touches everywhere but feels it will help David and the boys,' a friend tells the Daily Express.

'They need to make the emotional and cultural transition from Madrid to Hollywood.'

The couple and their three sons - Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - will move Stateside this summer as David has signed a five-year £128 million deal with LA Galaxy.

'David has been talking about how much he will miss siestas so Victoria is even thinking of a day room where they can rest in the afternoon,' says their pal. 'They are also considering hiring a Spanish chef.'
