Drew Barrymore: I'm the break-up fairy

Actress says she always helps pals through love splits

We always thought Drew Barrymore looked like the ultimate girl's girl - and now she's confirmed it.

The Charlie's Angels star, 32, rushed to best pal Cameron Diaz's side when she split up with Justin Timberlake - and Drew says she does that for all her mates.

'I literally put on my break-up cape and fly round there,' she explains.

'I won’t say what little things I always take with me, but I never go without my sense of humour.

'I take it as my job to be the court jester. To remind whoever it is that whatever they are going through they can still laugh.'

And Drew says her pals returned the favour when she recently split from The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti.

'My friends do exactly the same for me,' she tells Elle magazine. 'We all go through break-ups and we all feel it, whoever we are.'
