Drew Barrymore: I feel so broody

Single star yearns to become a mum

After spending so much time with her pregant pals, Drew Barrymore is starting to feel broody.

'So many of my friends are having children,' she says. 'I'm godmother to Frances Bean, Courtney Love's daughter, and one of my best friend's little sons, who I see all the time.'

The single star, 32 - who recently split from long-term Strokes drummer boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti - also dreams of becoming a mother one day - but worries that she might never have a baby of her own.

'I feel I'm sort of surrounded by children and I do feel I'm going to have a child at some point. Maybe a little girl,' she tells Elle magazine.

'I feel it, but I don't know if it's going to happen. Well just have to wait and see.'
