Victoria Hawkins: Being a WAG is boring

Emmerdale's newest star isn't a fan

New babe on the Emmerdale block Victoria Hawkins is set to play WAG Sharon Lambert - but isn't a fan of the lifestyle in real life.

The 23-year-old used to date Newcastle United player Matthew Pattison.

'When I went out with Mattie, I never thought, "Ooh, I'm a WAG,"' she smiles.

In fact, the actress says she wouldn't like to be classed as a WAG at all.

'They're girls who are only known for going out with footballers and don't do anything but spend their money,' she tells Sunday magazine. 'I couldn't be like that. I'd die of boredom.

'But some WAGs are OK though. I like people like Cheryl Cole who have their own careers and make their own money but just happen to be married to a footballer.

'And then there's Coleen, who's done really well for herself. She's made a whole load of money, and not through Wayne.'
