Mikey Dalton, 24, and Grace Adams-Short, 21, found love on last year’s BB. Now catches up with them one year on...

When you met on Big Brother, did you think you’d still be together a year later?

Mikey: 'When I first saw Grace I knew I was physically attracted to her, but it wasn’t like: "Oh my God, this is the girl I’m going to marry!"'

You did get engaged very quickly, though. Did people think it was all an act?

Grace: 'When people see us together they can tell that we’re genuine.'

So when’s the wedding?

Grace: 'Next summer in either Liverpool or Devon. I’ve already seen some beautiful dresses. I know we haven’t set a date yet, but I don’t see anything wrong with trying on outfits and drinking champagne! We’ve just bought our first place together, so we’re busy buying sofas right now.'

Will you be inviting your ex-BB housemates to the big day?

Grace: 'We really don‘t know yet. I still speak to Nikki and Glyn and I text Lisa, who’s up in Manchester. I see Aisleyne, too, which is mad. When we left BB, I just wanted to forget about it.'

Why do you think your relationship’s lasted, while Nikki and Pete’s didn’t?

Mikey: 'We actually liked each other – that’s the difference.'

What advice would you give to people doing BB this year?

Grace and Mikey’s top 5 tips for this year’s housemates:
1. Have a laugh.
2 Don’t be a racist!
3 And don’t be
a bitch, either.
4 Take in cigarettes to bribe people and chocolate for
the ladies!
5 Pack loads of clothes because using the mangle really isn’t fun.
