Gemma Atkinson attends British Soap Awards without Cristiano

Why wasn't her football star boyfriend with her?

After Cristiano Ronaldo's mum Dolores declared that her boy's relationship with Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson was all a lot of nonsense, we expected to see him on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards.

Jack Ryder escorted wife Kym Ryder but Gemma didn't have a man by her side at the event last night at London's BBC centre.

If Gem and Chris, both 22, really are in love, it's time they stepped out in public.
