Emma Bunton: I thought I’d never get pregnant

Baby Spice had fertility-threatening condition

Emma Bunton is expecting her first baby but she feared she’d never become a mum.

The 31-year-old star, who's due to give birth in September, was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2004.

Because the condition can make it very difficult to conceive, it was a huge surprise for her and long-term boyfriend Jade Jones, 26, when they did learn the good news.

‘I’m unbelievably excited,’ Emma tells The Sun. ‘I’ve been so worried for such a long time that I might not be able to be a mum.

‘I thought, “I’ve been so bloody lucky in my life that maybe not getting pregnant is payback.”’
