Orlando Bloom to star in London show

Actor wants a break from Hollywood

Orlando Bloom

Orlando Bloom is set to turn his back on the bright lights of Tinseltown to work in the theatre.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean star will tread the boards in London's West End revival of David Storey's play In Celebration.

'It's been an incredible ride but I'm sort of psyched to do something completely different,' the 30-year old tells the Guardian.

'I'm looking forward to continuing working on movies and making choices that excite me, and right now that is doing some theatre.'

But Orlando confesses he is already suffering from stage fright.

'I wanted to have a very organic experience, but I am rather terrified,' he says.

Look on the bright side Orlando, at least you don't have to get your kit off.
