James Blunt avoids Petra Nemcova

Singer steers clear of ex-love at Cannes

James Blunt skipped a lavish party at Cannes - when his ex-girlfriend Petra Nemcova arrived in town.

The 33-year-old singer had been invited to the bash by new pal Kid Rock, who was DJing at the event hosted by jewellers De Grisogono.

But when he found out that Petra was also due to attend the party, he decided to give it a miss.

And Petra was equally unwilling to see her ex, telling reporters from the Sun: 'Don't even talk to me about James. I just want to enjoy myself tonight.'

The pair split in February, after two years together, and apparently on amicable terms.

But sounds to us like someone's telling porkies.
