Robbie Williams about to quit the US

Singer set to shack up with his best pal Jonathan Wilkes

Robbie Williams and Jonathan Wilkes

We thought he'd quit the UK for good but Robbie Williams is set to leave Los Angeles to live with his best chum in London.

The troubled singer, who has been in the US for five years, is reportedly planning to move into a new home with actor Jonathan Wilkes, his wife Nikki and their one-year-old son Mickey.

'Robbie is coming home to be close to the people who love him,' a pal told the News Of The World. 'He wants to have fun with his friends and concentrate on getting rid of his demons.'

Jonathan, who used to share a London flat with Robbie, 33, has been viewing several properties in Chiswick, West London.

He's said to be looking for a £2.6 million five-bedroom house.

Robbie, 33, who checked into rehab in February for prescription drug addiction, reached his lowest point after critics panned his latest album Rudebox.

'Some of the best days were back when he lived with Jonathan in their bachelor pad,' added the source. 'He is looking forward to a life of golf and football for a while and being with his mates and family.'

Wonder what Jonathan's wife makes of all that?
