Emma Barton: I've been put off giving birth

EastEnders star horrified by research videos

Actress Emma Barton had to pretend to give birth in EastEnders but she's in no hurry to do it for real.

Emma, 29, who plays Billy Mitchell's wife Honey, admits researching the role made her feel ill.

'I panicked about the labour scene,' she laughs, 'so I got these birthing videos and they put me right off!

'In one, this poor lady was hanging on to her husband and groaning away and I thought, "I feel ill".

'I'm quite happy to have puppies and dogs for now.'

But she hasn't been put off the joys of motherhood for good.

'I'd like to think I'd have kids in the future, if I'm lucky enough, but you never know what your situation will be,' she tells Celebs On Sunday. 'At the moment, I'm happy and single and I still feel too young.'
