What’s the worst job you’ve ever done?
Julie Peter, St Albans
Stacking milk at The Trafford Centre in Manchester. I used to work for eight hours a day in a fridge with a temperature of 8°C. I absolutely stank of dairy after I finished a shift.
Do you have any phobias?
Mandy Harris, Croydon
Spiders – big time. I run if I see a spider at home. I can’t kill it, so I try to catch it and put it outside.
Do you clean your own toilet at home?
Kerry Peters, West Ham
Yes I do! I’m a total cleanaholic. I have to have a clean kitchen and bathroom. In fact, I’m the only guy I know who sits down to pee so that I don’t splash.
What’s your worst vice?
Craig, Brighton
Chocolate. Anything made by Cadbury works for me.
Would you ever go on a reality TV show?
Alison Coudray, Harrow
If it were something to do with playing football, I’d do it. I’d also do Hell’s Kitchen, but I don’t know if I could have Gordon Ramsay shouting at me. I’m a big man and we’re not at school, so I don’t expect to be yelled at. Tempers would definitely flare in the kitchen because I’d be shouting back.
Are you handy around the house?
Ali Edwards, Highgate
Yes, I’d be the perfect husband.
Are you single right now?
Audrey Brown, Kensal Rise
Yes. I’m not looking for a girlfriend, I’m looking for my future wife! My eyes are open.
What’s put a smile on your face recently?
Micallar Walker, Dulwich
I love making someone else’s day. My mum used to be a home help, so as a youngster I often did shopping for the elderly. I still visit retirement homes whenever I can, to do a set for them. One lady hadn’t been out of her room in years – she came out to hear me sing and has been out ever since.
When Blue first hit the big time, is it true that you blew £100,000 in three weeks?
Stephanie Brown, London
Yes! Me and Lee [Ryan] squandered it on jewellery, travelling the world and very expensive champagne. We didn’t realise how much we were actually spending until our accountant sat us down and brought out a huge roll of receipts. It was a wake-up call and I’ve been more sensible about money since.
Does your career make it difficult to see your 10-year-old daughter Alanah?
Helen Pollard, Hammersmith
It does and it breaks my heart because Alanah’s my world. I worship her and she knows that. In an ideal world I’d see her a lot more.
Did you really have a fling with Dannii Minogue?
Petra Novak, Neasden
A gentleman never tells!
