The judges insisted they wanted more emotion from the lads in reality show Any Dream Will Do tonight - and that's what they got.
But the tears flowed once it was all over for ousted Daniel Boys while he was stripped of his striped Joseph coat.
Daniel, 28, managed to keep the tears that filled up his eyes from flowing but fellow contestant Lewis Bradley, 17 - who performed a duet with him in a sing-off - wept as the credits rolled.
Daniel and Lewis sang the heartbreaking Bring Him Home from Les Miserables after host Graham Norton revealed that Dan had got the least votes from the viewers - but it was up to judge Andrew Lloyd-Webber to make the final decision.
He agreed with the public but Dan left saying: 'I just want to reiterate what the other Josephs have said - this has been the most incredible experience, and I just want to thank everybody.'
Sob. We cried. Don't know about you.
