Lindsay Lohan tops poll of sexy woman

Calum's squeeze beats Jessica Alba to first place

Lindsay Lohan is the 'hottest' woman on the planet.

The Georgia Rule actress finished top in men's mag Maxim's annual Hot 100 poll, ahead of Jessica Alba in second place and Scarlett Johansson in third.

'There is no other star in the world who causes more of a stir in the public eye than Lindsay,' says Maxim's editor-in-chief Jimmy Jellinek. 'Her every move is watched and reported on.'

Jimmy claims his readership is 'obsessed' with Lindsay, 20, who last week enjoyed a romantic holiday in the Bahamas with womanising model Calum Best - and is now reported to be house-hunting with him.

The Hot 100 is a list made up by editors to reflect the yearly impact of beautiful women in the world of film, TV, music, sports and fashion.

The top ten also featured Christina Aguilera, Jessica Biel and Rihanna. Eva Longoria, who held the crown for the previous two years, slipped to ninth position.

Angelina Jolie and Beyoncé Knowles only managed to make the top twenty, while Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Jennifer Aniston failed to make the cut.
