Calum Best is barred from VIP area

Lindsay Lohan has to rescue him from embarrassing situation

Lindsay Lohan's lover Calum Best was barred from a VIP nightclub area after security failed to recognise him.

The womanising model - son of late soccer legend George Best - was partying with Lindsay at Aura nightclub in the Bahamas on Friday when he visited the toilet.

On his return Calum tried to get back into the VIP section, but was stopped by security.

An onlooker revealed Calum kicked up a fuss and insisted he was with Lindsay, but was still refused entry

'Best was telling the guard, "Wait - I really want to make this point," a source told US Weekly magazine. 'Eventually Lindsay sent someone from her group to come to his rescue.

'They came and got him. Best gave an, "I told you so" look to the guard.'

Earlier in the night, the couple attended a Janet Jackson concert at the opening of The Cove Atlantis Hotel. As Janet performed hits including If, Calum, 26, wrapped his arms around Lindsay, 20.

Call us cynics but we still doubt it's true love.
