Scooch flop at Eurovision

British hopefuls come second to last

Scooch

Let's face it, with all the political voting going on, Britain was never going to be crowned queen of Eurovision.

And despite Scooch's best efforts at laying on the cheese, poor old Blighty came in second to last.

The group, who took to the stage dressed as airline flight attendants, drew with France on just 19 points. Only Ireland managed fewer points, finishing on five.

'We are disappointed,' Scooch star Russ Spencer said. 'We did our best but it just wasn't enough.'
