Ukraine tipped to win Eurovision

UK's Scooch must beat Verka the drag queen

Tonight's the night!

This year's 52nd Eurovision Song Contest sees 24 nations compete in Helsinki, Finland, with Ukrainian drag queen Verka Serdyuchka the bookies' favourite.

Millions of viewers will vote by phone and text message to decide the winner - and Scooch will give it their best for the UK with Flying The Flag.

Finnish monster rock group Lordi triumphed with Hard Rock Hallelujah in 2006 so it's time for bubblegum pop to triumph.
