Actress defends celebrity stylist
Wednesday, 30 May 2007
Keira Knightley has jumped to the defence of her red carpet-event stylist Rachel Zoe in the size zero debate.
When Nicole Richie was at her skinniest last year, it was her stylist, Rachel, who got the blame for her skin and bones chic.
But Keira, 22, says Rachel, 35, is in no way responsible.
'I think as far as Rachel Zoe and the size zero debate is concerned, she's a very lovely lady and has lovely style and the idea that she could inflict anorexia on anybody is prepostorous,' she tells The Observer Magazine.
'I don't believe it's where the disease came from. I'm not an anorexia expert. I can't imagine Rachel Zoe saying anything but nice things to anyone. She has a very positive vibe. She's hilarious.'
And of those unfounded rumours that Keira herself suffered with an eating disorder?
'No, no, no. I have never had a problem and I hope never to have a problem.'
