Nicola Roberts: Dieting could kill me

Girls Aloud star would rather be a size 8

Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts has revealed she could die if she crash dieted.

The Scouse-born star, 21, suffers with the same blood sugar disorder as Nicole Richie -hypoglycaemia.

'If I dieted I would die,' she reveals. 'I'm hypoglycaemic and anaemic. My sugar levels are low and plummet if I don't eat.

'I'd prefer to be a size 8 but the hypoglycaemia, which I've had five years, means I have to eat constantly to keep my weight and blood sugar levels stable.

'I'm thin all over but tend to put weight on my thighs and have to go up a dress size because of them.'

In an interview with Sunday magazine, Nicola - who's been dating Scouse sales manager Carl, 29, for the last five months - also reveals she wouldn't say no to a little nip and tuck.

'I would have cosmetic surgery once I've had kids. But I'd do it for my boyfriend's sake, not my own.'

Whatever happened to girl power, Nicola?
