Naomi Campbell: I loved being a scrubber

Supermodel enjoyed her time as a cleaner

It looks like performing community service wasn't such a chore for Naomi Campbell after all.

The supermodel, 36, was forced to scrub a New York Sanitation Department garage after hurling a mobile phone at her maid.

But instead of finding cleaning a burden, Naomi actually seemed to enjoy herself.

'I find solace in sweeping,' she wrote in a diary she kept of her experiences for American mag W. 'I have no other responsibility. I have no phone. I have the time to think. Just have, you know, peace.'

Perhaps the simple life isn't so bad, eh Naomi?
