Nicola Roberts was left sobbing in a club after a furious argument with her boyfriend Carl Davis.
Shocked witnesses spotted the Girls Aloud star, 21, and her fella having a heated row in trendy Liverpool venue Mosquito on the weekend.
It's not the first time that the singer - who's been with Carl for just six months - has had a bust-up in public. The pair also had a huge spat at the NME awards in March.
'When they've had a drink, they're up and down like anything,' a pal tells the Sun. 'One minute they're snogging, and the next they are having a blazing row.
'It's all very public too. Nicola clearly adores him, but we're worried a relationship this new can be so volatile.'
It seems the path of true love doesn't run smoothly for these Girls Aloud gals...
