Paris Hilton: My jail sentence is cruel

Heiress says she is being treated unfairly

After being given a 45-day jail sentence – which is due to begin in June – Paris Hilton has told photographers that she doesn't feel feel justice has been done.

'I told the truth yesterday.' she told US agency X17 on Saturday. 'I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwarranted ...'

Paris, 26, met up with her parents Rick and Kathy for lunch at Beverly Hills restaurant Prego, no doubt to discuss what their options are now. The family could lodge an appeal against the judgement.
