Robbie Williams' footie team loses charity match

Singer's side lose out on cup

Poor Robbie Williams. Despite having a full-size football pitch in his back garden, it seems he still hasn't managed to get much practice in.

The 33-year-old singer's footie team, LA Vale, was thrashed 5-1 when they battled the Des Moines Menace at a charity match in Iowa.

And the Robster and his team-mates, who included Grey's Anatomy star Richard Jenik and Heroes' Santiago Cabrera, were left despondent - despite managing to get in a sneaky goal in the 86th minute.

Never mind boys, it's not long until Becks' big move. We're sure you'll pick up once he's on side.
