Pregnant Jordan in turmoil as Peter Andre recovers from brain bug

Heavily pregnant Jordan is struggling to cope with the devastating news that her husband Peter Andre will take months to recover from meningitis.

Although Peter, 34, was discharged from East Surrey Hospital last week, he's still very poorly. And Jordan admits to feeling ‘absolutely exhausted’.

She still suffers from postnatal depression after the birth of youngest son Junior, almost two - who she has struggled to bond with – and takes a small dose of antidepressants.

‘I’m only on 2.5mg. The doctors laugh at me – they say that it’s not even worth taking,’ Jordan admitted recently.

The glamour model is also only just getting over the terrible accident her four-year-old son Harvey – who has a growth disorder and is partially blind – had on New Year's Eve, when he scalded himself in the bath.

And she has to cope with cameras following her everywhere for the couple's new reality TV show Katie And Peter: The Next Chapter.

‘Jordan’s coping pretty well under the circumstances, but the strain must be getting to her both physically and emotionally,' says a source.
