Dale Winton nobbles Sharon Osbourne

Supermarket Sweep pushes Shaz's chat show off air

Sharon Osbourne's chat show has been axed - in favour of Dale Winton's cult favourite Supermarket Sweep.

Screened at 5pm on ITV1, The Sharon Osbourne Show initially pulled in around two million viewers when it launched last year.

But then figures slumped to less than a million.

By contrast, the recent series of Dale's show - where contestants do a trolley dash - has pulled in over three million viewers, so bosses are planning to bring it back as soon as possible.

We always knew Dale was a telly winner.
