Borat star set to play Queen legend in film
Friday, 4 May 2007
Move over, Mika, it seems there's a new Freddie Mercury wannabe in town.
Sacha Baron Cohen, 35, is reportedly being lined up to play the flamboyant Queen singer in a big budget movie about his life.
Freddie died from AIDS at the age of 45 in 1991 - and is much missed.
'Film makers are working flat out to get the best possible script,' a source says. 'Sacha loves the idea he can get away with playing Freddie after modelling Borat's look on him.'
We hope Sacha gets to sport his mankini again. We're sure Freddie would have approved.
