Nadine Coyle torn as Jesse begs for forgiveness

Should the Girls Aloud star take back Jesse Metcalfe?

Nadine Coyle is agonising over whether to get back with ex-lover Jesse Metcalfe.

Just hours after they broke up, the 28-year-old actor was photographed hand-in-hand with a mystery brunette, but now the former Desperate Housewives star is begging for another chance.

‘Jesse may have been seen out with another girl, but his heart belongs to Nadine,' a close friend tells Now. 'She convinced him to go into rehab to help their relationship. She still blames herself for not seeing that he had a problem in the first place.'

The pair, who met in February 2006, initially split after an explosive row over Jesse’s lack of commitment. But according to his pal, Jesse spent much of his recent stint in rehab - where he went to deal with alcohol issues – thinking about their relationship.

He has been pleading with Nadine, 21, to take him back, saying he misses her deeply.
