CBB contestant Danielle Lloyd has accepted a public apology from Express Newspapers over a false claim in the Daily Star Sunday that she had sex in a nightclub with a DJ she barely knew.
Danielle's solicitor Simon Smith told Mr Justice Eady: 'The allegations are entirely false. The incident simply did not happen.
'It was alleged that she went with the man to a VIP changing room having only just met him for the first time and removed all her clothes "within seconds" and then began "ripping (the DJ's) clothes off" and was "totally wild".
'The publication of this false article has caused hurt, embarrassment and distress to the claimant."
Stephen Bacon, counsel for Express Newspapers, apologised for the false allegations and agreed to a donation to the charity of Danielle's choice [the Linda McCartney Memorial Trust].
