Pregnant singer Charlotte Church is said to be 'absolutely fine' after being involved in a minor car accident.
The 21-year-old, who is expecting her baby in the autumn, was driving her Mini in Cardiff on Sunday when a Vauxhall Astra hit the rear of her car.
The impact forced her into the back of a Mercedes driven by boyfriend Gavin Henson, who was in front of her.
'There appears to have been a three-car shunt at around 6.30pm on Sunday on Western Avenue,' a spokeswoman for South Wales Police told Metro.
'Nobody was injured in any way. An ambulance was called for the pregnant driver of the Mini but it wasn't needed. She was driven home in the Mercedes car because she didn't want to drive and an officer took her car home.
'This is something we would normally do if a pregnant woman has been involved in an accident in order to clear a busy road. There was no special treatment.'
A spokeswoman for Charlotte said: 'I can only confirm that there was minor car accident.
'Charlotte was shunted by the car behind and she is absolutely fine.'
