Jason Priestley: I bagged myself a British babe

Actor married a nice girl from St Albans

Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jason Priestley says he's very familiar with our very own Thameslink trains - because he married a girl from St Albans.

The actor from Vancouver bumped into make-up artist Naomi Lowde on the streets of London six years ago, when he was working in the West End.

'I left the theatre and met her as I walked down Shaftesbury Avenue, totally random,' he explains.

Jason, 37, says his Canadian roots means he's very friendly and they just got talking. Naomi, 31, introduced him to the joys of Hertfordshire and the couple married in May 2005. They are expecting their first child this summer.

'We live in LA now, but I've been to St Albans,' Jason tells Celebs On Sunday. 'I got the Tube and the British Rail train from King's Cross. I've been up there quite a few times.'

It's great to know some celebs still keep it real.
