Kacey Ainsworth: I'm no yummy mummy

Ex-EastEnder says her beauty regime has fallen apart

Former EastEnder Kacey Ainsworth, who played down-trodden Little Mo, says becoming mum to baby Blossom three years ago has put paid to pampering.

'I'm no yummy mummy,' she chuckles. 'In the past I'd always worry about how I looked or the next hairstyle, getting leg waxes and booking appointments for manicures and all of that.

'I couldn't give a stuff now.'

The actress, 36 - who's about to star in new BBC1 series HolbyBlue - doesn't fuss over her daughter's appearance, either.

'I don't care if Blossom's in the latest clothes as long as we're happy,' she tells the Daily Express Saturday magazine. 'A dirty kid is a happy kid as far as I'm concerned.'

Kacey lives with her childhood sweetheart Darren Hales and even though they are now mum and dad to their beautiful daughter, there's no wedding planned.

'I've been married at least three times on telly already,' says Kacey. 'I've kind of done the dress and, OK, the groom might not have been Darren, but I've had the ceremony, hair and make-up.'
