Victoria Beckham reveals a new, fuller figure as she tries for another baby

She’s put on weight and she’s embracing her new curves – and no one’s more pleased with her changing shape than Victoria Beckham herself.

When she stepped into a figure-hugging white dress for the christening party of Geri Halliwell’s daughter Bluebell recently, Victoria knew the topic of conversation would inevitably turn to her new curvier figure – and she loved every minute of it.

‘Victoria’s put on weight and she looks amazing,' says a confidant. 'It’s only a couple of pounds, but it’s noticeable to those close to her. Everyone was shocked because we all know how obsessed she is with her figure.'

Her close friends guessed something had changed when she was spotted tucking into carbohydrates at Geri’s reception.

‘Vic’s diet usually consists of fish, fruit and wine, so it was odd to see carbs on her plate,’ says one.

‘She’s always prided herself on being very disciplined and the thought of carbs even touching her lips would repulse her, but now she’s done a complete U-turn.

'She was tucking into salmon sandwiches and lemon teacakes. She had the odd glass of wine, but she’d only sip it and didn’t overindulge at all.’

Now can exclusively reveal that 33-year-old Victoria’s curvier new look is the result of her secret baby diet.

‘Victoria’s no longer hung up on having a girl, she just wants a healthy baby,’ says the friend. ‘Her work commitments initially made her rethink her baby plans, but now it’s full steam ahead – and what Victoria wants, Victoria gets.’
