Elton John: I will sing Candle In The Wind for Diana

Singer will perform weepie at memorial concert

Elton John has reportedly said he will sing his moving hit Candle In The Wind at the end of the Diana memorial concert on 1 July.

The track hasn't been performed since Elton reworked it for Princess Diana's funeral 10 years ago.

And there was speculation that the star was reluctant to ever sing it again.

Insiders think it will make a very fitting end to the moving event, which is being staged on Diana's birthday.

Acts already confirmed include Lily Allen and Rod Stewart.
