Gossip singer loves acting like a grandma and potting flowers

Beth Ditto would rather do gardening than take drugs.

The Gossip singer may have a reputation for being a wild, outspoken rock star but she insists she is actually very boring and never does drugs.

'One rule I always stick to is to stay away from drugs, which is why this idea that I’m a wild, crazy rock star is so hilarious,' the 25-year-old tells The Guardian.

'I actually have the opposite of a rock-star lifestyle – outside of performing I’m a grandma. I do things like bake cakes and worry about whether I have time to pot my flowers before it gets too cold.

'I just don’t think drugs are cool. I’ve seen too many people destroy their creativity and their lives and I have no desire to be one of them.'
