Singer says her Sporty Spice image wrecked her body

Melanie Chisholm – aka Mel C - regrets keeping up her image as superslim Sporty when the Spice Girls were at the height of their fame.
The singer, 33, says that the extreme diet and fitness regime she pursued was unhealthy.
‘I got so thin when I wasn’t eating, my periods stopped and my bones became very fragile,' she recalls. ‘I may have done permanent damage.'
She’s overcome her eating disorder but Mel is still worried she won't be able to conceive.
‘We’re all in our 30s so it’s time to be focusing on family.' she tells The Sun. The old clock is ticking. I want to be a mum and I’d like more than one child.’
