Band will stay in a wigwam at Glastonbury
Tuesday, 17 April 2007
The Arctic Monkeys won't be trashing any hotel rooms at this year's Glastonbury festival.
The Sheffield rockers, who are headlining the music event this summer, are opting not to stay in five star accomodation and are instead planning to sleep in a traditional teepee.
Lead singer Alex Turner told Radio 1: 'We're going to stay in a wigwam. Maybe we could do the concert from there.'
The band also revealed they would love to work with Amy Winehouse and are hoping to perform live with her this year.
'We hear she is going to be playing at the same concert in Manchester as us,' says Alex. 'It would be great if we could perform live together.'
